Greet’s Eats: Vinalhaven’s first food truck – watch the fishermen come in to sell their catch while you enjoy the lobster roll voted best in New England (by Downeast Magazine readers)
Asian Persuasion: Take out Asian cuisine from a food truck on the Sand’s Road including spring rolls, pupu platters, and fried rice and noodle dishes. 863-5085
Midnight Kitchen: A food truck behind New Era Gallery specializing in over the top burgers, nachos, BBQ, and fish tacos

Vinalhaven Flea & Farmer’s Market: Saturday mornings at the field by the Union Church. Weekly offerings include baked goods, freshly made chowders, pies, and more.
Island Spirits: Perfect place to pack a picnic, including selections of wine, beer, cheese, crackers, smoked seafood, and other nibbles 863-2192
Carver’s Harbor Market: Our local grocery store with a full complement of grocery items, baked goods, prepared meals, and sandwiches prepared at the deli counter. Grocery delivery available 863-4319
Top Secret Tidewater Stash: We know the restaurant selection on the island is a bit sparse this year so we have put together a secret stash of dishes made by island chefs in individual portions, including chowder, shepherd's pie, lasagna, empanadas, and more. See a staff member for more details.
North Haven
A water taxi makes runs across the Thoroughfare to North Haven. Both restaurants are worth a visit, and the whole experience is a little adventure. One way or another, we can get you up to the thoroughfare so you can access the water taxi.
The Landing: A fast-ish food restaurant with a plethora of satisfying sandwiches and ice cream. Offering lunch most days as well as Sunday suppers. Call 207-863-5186 for more information.

North Haven Brewing: Located just downstairs from Calderwood Hall, this brewery offers refillable growlers and flights of their local beers.

Turner Farm Barn Suppers: Eat a family style five course menu set on one of the most picturesque working farms of all time. Thursdays and Fridays June-September. Reservations HIGHLY recommended.
